Registered Nursing is one of the oldest professions in healthcare and is a critical component of patient care. In the ever-changing field of healthcare, nurses’ roles have never been more crucial, challenging, and rewarding. Gwinnett Tech nursing students receive diverse, high-quality educational experiences that prepare them for the exciting challenges of nursing in today’s healthcare environment. Gwinnett Tech’s curriculum combines classroom and laboratory training with clinical experience. Students learn the techniques needed to provide exceptional patient care at the highest level of quality.

Gwinnett Tech offers several options for the Associate Degree in Nursing: The traditional Option, the LPN Bridge Option, the Paramedic Bridge Option, and the Surgical Technologists Bridge Option.

The Associate Degree Nursing (Traditional Option) is designed to provide a course of study that prepares the graduate to practice as a nurse generalist. The curriculum provides a strong foundation in the practice of nursing and prepares the student to function safely within the framework of the Registered Nurse’s role.

The Associate Degree Nursing LPN Bridge Option is designed to provide a pathway for students who have completed their education as Licensed Practical Nurses. In addition, the Paramedic Bridge Option is available for students who have completed their education as Licensed Paramedics, and the Surgical Technologists Bridge option is available for students who have completed their education as certified surgical technologists.
